Well, here it is. My first poem published online. Enjoy 🙂
Sadness is the rain that descends upon my life, The fog that clouds my visionAs I look out upon the world I cannot find my place
And I wait for the sun to shine.
I wait for almost eternity, Waiting for the weather to improve.
The winter must come to an end someday But now, someday seems so far away.
One day a smile from a stranger is just One ray of light through the clouds, The warmth and light feel so close Sadness and despair become joy and happiness As the sun shines brightly each day. It lifts the weight from my heart And birds chirp as symbols of your love For me.
